Abene is a village in the south of Senegal on the Atlantic coast.  There are around 5000 inhabitants of differing ethnicities and religions, all living in harmony. The major industries are agriculture, fishing and tourism, where the New Year festival is one of the yearly highlights. 



This site has been created using free software and is maintained by volunteers from the village.
