Abene’s technical college is a joint venture between the village and the Dutch organisation, Bantang Woroo which has raised funds and provided equipment.



The missions of the college include:



• Training technicians for local businesses, guiding people towards a sustainable economic and social development.
• Promotion of the Senegalese youth
• Contribute to the fight against youth unemployment and poverty.
• Help students achieve self-employment.
• Creation of micro enterprises.
